"Summer" | Andy Seymour at Interact Gallery

Interact is pleased to announce the first major solo exhibition by Andy Seymour, an artist whose career spans more than 20 years

Almost every piece that Andy Seymour has created in the last two decades is titled Summer – a reference to summers at his mother's lake cabin in northern Minnesota. The cabin was called Windfall, and it is where Andy, his mother, his brothers Forrest and Macy, and their growing families spent precious summer days.

Featuring over 60 drawings and paintings, Summer is Andy's windfall. His first solo exhibition brings together over 20 years of visual exploration, marking an important moment in the career of an artist whose work continues to surprise and delight.

Small dots of many colors and irregular shape sit on top of large patches of color. Some of the dots in the center of the painting are outlined in white.
