Laurie enjoys experimenting with new techniques and says she is a "perfectionist by nature." Her work reveals a range of media including acrylic paint, ink, graphite, and color pencil on paper. Making glass tile mosaics at Interact and learning about creative lettering methods with Peyton Scott Russell at Mississippi Creative Arts School in Saint Paul, Minnesota are examples of her spirited interest in new techniques.
