Hold Us Tight: Interact at Fresh Eye Gallery

 

Interact is pleased to announce that Laurie M., Jill Reedy, and Victor Van are included in Hold Us Tight, an exhibition at Fresh Eye Gallery that features 39 artists. 

Hold Us Tight explores the complex and contradictory meanings of the word hold: you can hold a hand, an object, a loved one. Hold can mean "to contain" -- a treasured item, a secret. You can hold court or hold space. You can also be held by someone you love, held by community, held by societal structures, held accountable. 

Curator Benjamin Merritt is a printmaker with a BFA from the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. His work affirms & celebrates the experience of chronic illness & disability through text & printmaking.
